Ambivalence, A Novel

Ambivalence, A Novel  is an old-fashioned experimental novel and a new fangled sermon, in which the individual, Monsieur Ambivalence, living in a small village in the middle of France and trying to live up to Blaise Pascal's injunction to learn to sit quietly by himself in a room for at least one hour, is both a stranger in a strange land and all too familiar to himself and those who love him.
