3 Paintings by AI, and an Orange Coda

When he made the painting he was suffering at the time…

1) AI

His car was parked outside, walking all alone having lost its driver. His car it seems, at the moment, to be heading the right way, around the corner, then stopping at the liquor store that’s open till 2 am. The lights are on outside and inside the store; perhaps his car has stopped to get a drink.

2) Hearing Aids

I hear the hawk. The hawk is somewhere up in the eucalyptus tree singing to the baby hawk, but I can’t see either the mother or the baby hawk. I listen over and over, this is what I hear: two hawks with four ears and two ears with two hearing aids.

The word iota is the ninth letter in the Greek alphabet, represented as ‘I’ in uppercase and ‘i’ in lower case. The word iota often refers to something insignificant. If I was to use the word verbatim in a sentence I had already written, it would refer to exactly same words I used originally. There’s nothing left to literature that I don’t know.

Orange Coda—the orange I ate was from Peru, a Honey Murcott. Very very seedy, mild taste, smooth but not memorable. The orange from Peru was painted orange.
