The designation ‘small press’ delights us. The smaller the better! So small the book might have been made for one reader by one writer, and designed by one’s neighbor. Since we began in 1999, this human-scale effort is built for the life between artist, publisher, and reader--so that the book is made between them and could only have been that book. Then another, and another. Small is beautiful, and that for us is impact.
