The Brooks Roddan Invitational

Everyone, each one of us, should look at ourselves in the mirror for a full minute every morning and every evening; then perhaps we could see ourselves and see each other for who we are.

The forehead must not be the first thing you see in the mirror or, in this case, my nose.

In my case this morning, the first thing I see is that everything I’ve ever made was already given to me, and that this is so is a kind of sobering shock.

All that time, 74-plus years, I already had everything I really needed!

A minute can last a very long time when you are looking at yourself in the mirror.

However, I am going to repeat the experience of looking at myself in the mirror for a full minute this evening, in the hope that it becomes an on-going meditational practice which at some point reveals my true identity.
