Ascension and stasis, gratitude and gravity. As Heraclitus put it, “you can’t step on the same world twice.”

Ideas are tough little things, so it seems. Some are kept in small boxes wrapped in plastic, decorated with white and pink tiles. Since I don’t have any ideas I have no need of a box.

Absence and presence and shadows and sunrise. Remembering what is real and what isn’t real seems more important to me than ever.
