Rothko Tower

I live on the Left Bank of Fog, as far away as possible from Anthropic and OPEN AI.
Every morning I drive a surrey with the fringe on top to my place of business, a small studio in the Inner Sunset, where a Rothko that comes in 3 colors— lilac, light yellow, and Phthalo blue—already hangs.
No hasty split-second decisions for me any more; now I linger in my little studio as long as I’m able, until almost everything I’m seeing has become one continuous experience, seamless and transformative. I’ve not had to to travel to Scarborough Fair or to Burning Man!
Quietly absorbed in the colors of the sunrise, watching the colors change colors, it seems to me that I’ve hit some kind of precious pay-dirt, not the future of an illusion, but the experience itself.
