Neighborhood Replacement Theory

Introducing some good news: the eponymous 2-year old ‘Sandwich Building’ @ Stanyan and Haight is up and occupied.

The even better good news: the comparatively new Sandwich Building replaced the out-of-place and outdated McDonald’s that no longer exists.

And who can forget the great white replacement theory? I’d sure like to, wouldn’t you?

I can’t help but think of the Talking Heads song, “This Must Be the Place” with the words—Home is where I want to be/But I think I’m already there.
